i think this is a nice time for an endless rant, isn't it internet?
dear internet, as i told you earlier i left for a walk today, and i can only say that i'm ashamed, quite dreadfully ashamed. ashamed that i had forgotten how beautiful the color green looks contrasted with sapphire skies. how amazing the wind feels as it blows on your face and obliterates any pretense of order in your hair, or how it chills you as the sun toasts your back. why have i done this internet? is it you that keeps me away from the endless wonders of the simplest things? i never stopped admiring trees for their strength and longevity, ants for their might and efficacy, wind for its grace, or the skies for their beauty and the very rock that holds our feet simply for being there. then why does it feel like i've ignored nature for what it is? why have i followed the white rabbit and waited in that first room for so long when i can see what's beyond that little door? do you know what's behind that door? nothing, absolutely nothing if you don't see it for yourself, there is no point in me telling you, just go take a peek at the smallest thing you can find, make it an ant, a pebble, a drop of dew, anything, you'll see more life in it that what can be seen in the whole world, yet its tiny size makes most of us ignore them. but not everything can be seen, somethings you must feel, go outside and hug the biggest tree you can find, listen to what it has to say, it can tell you a million things, chances are it has lived much longer than you, and it will live to see many generations after you, listen to it whisper to you, dont feel dumb or silly for doing what you are doing, life is too short to feel dumb, and chances are that's the only hug that tree will ever get from anybody, so make it a good hug :3 .
